2010 will be an unforgettable year which promises a faster pace than 2009 by far
and major events. As the year begins, there is a Blue Moon (the second full moon
in a month) lunar eclipse at 10 degrees Cancer on December 31, foreshadowing the
emotional, action-packed, unusual energy of the year ahead. At this time, the Sun
will be in Capricorn, close to Pluto in the same Sign and together with Venus and
Mercury. Mercury is in its retrograde phase together with Mars in Leo, also retrograde.
These major events of 2010 will almost certainly affect the U.S. as eclipses in
Cancer-Capricorn from 2010-2012 intimately affect the U.S. chart. It will be time
for all of us to begin new, innovative things as Uranus moves from Pisces to sign
of new beginnings, Aries. After the past few years of global recession, when we've
been forced into a mode of safety and security over creativity, now we are individually
and collectively entering a phase when creativity and pioneering efforts will pay
off.
There is a powerful cardinal T-square involving Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn
and Saturn in Libra which culminates on August 1, 2010, so leading up to this time
we will feel a need and a desire to take action rather than sit on the fence. This
is the year for the doers; it's the time to dare rather than to dream.
Globally, with Uranus in Aries we can expect alternative energy systems to be highlighted
with new sources coming to the fore, such as the power and harnessing of spiritual
energy (e-mail me for info. about this).
There is a powerful cardinal T-square where Pluto in Capricorn is the midpoint of
an opposition between Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Aries, which culminates on Aug.
1, 2010. Jupiter enters Pisces and will be will be transiting this sign bringing
expansion and good fortune to this section of your chart.
Saturn, the planet of discipline and maturity is now in Libra, the diplomat of the
zodiac preferring peace over war. The planets in the cardinal signs may bring rash
international actions but Saturn in Libra will try to bring peaceful solutions through
diplomacy rather than through saber-rattling.
With Pluto in Capricorn since 2008 until 2024, we will see the entire structure
of the global monetary system slowly changing from the bottom upwards, as well as
the way governments do business. This could be painful up until August 2010 and
I do not expect the economy to improve this year even though it felt as if it might
late 2009.
Between 2010 and 2012, Eclipses in the Cancer-Capricorn polarity, along with Pluto
in Capricorn will reinforce the destruction of the old ways of government, the wrong
uses of power and issues related to health care.
